The Golden Rule

'Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them; for this is the law and the prophets'.

If I say to you 'do it', you should retort back at me asking 'do what'?
What do you want others to do to you in the family? What to you want people to do to you in your neighbourhood? How do you want to be treated in the church? What about in the office where you work, what do you want people to say about you?
If you think about anything good regarding these questions, just go ahead and do same to others.
Life is a boomerang. What you sow into the life of others shall you reap. Do you want to be treated with courtecy? Do likewise to others. If you want to be favored, favor others. If you want to be loved and appreciated, appreciated others. If you want to be honoured, honour others. If you don't want people to speak evil of you, don't speak evil about others. This is what Christ called the law of the prophets. It is the golden rule. Show a little bit of kindness, care for the dying, provide shelter for the stranger. You'll not only receive commensurate service, your miracle and deliverance may depend on it.
David in the book of 1 Samuel 30 just lost his place in the Philistine's army. The princes rejected his company and his king friend was forced to let go of him. Just as he returned back to Ziklag, he met his home destroyed, his wives captured and his properties confisticated. As he sought to locate the intruders, he met a dying servant of the intruders, he was an Egyptian. David forgot about his troubles at that moment and attended to the sickly stranger. The Egyptian turned out to be his informant who led him to the camp of his enemies. David recovered his lost glory and family. If you apply the golden rule, doors will open before you.

After my secondary school education and while waiting for admission into the higher institution, I took it upon myself to give my service free in teaching a pal of mine who was having problems with her sciences. I was consistent and dedicated and her parents saw my effort. I never knew her father had the information about a course I never knew about-Medical Laboratory Science. He later ensured I got the application form and physically accompanied me to the institution. The door of admission opened for me and today I am a practicing medical laboratory scientist.
Offer yourself sacrificially for others and you be find people who will go the extra mile to work for you. That is the golden rule. The greatest master revealed the secret. I hope you'll apply it?

Anti-Ageing Power

Commercial Companies spend billions of dollars annually to make and promote anti-ageing products. Thousands fall for the emotional triggers packed in the advert copy for these products. If there are some of them that are genuine, most are fake. It never produces promised results.

How can we stay strong till old age and remain fresh? Here is the secret answer to that querry. 'Even the youth shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall'. What then is the way out? 'But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength'. This is most often ignored by most people as a result of life's pressures and problems. The secret to renewing our strenth is in waiting upon the Lord. Spend quality time daily with God in prayer, meditation and faith. Your power will be renewed. Is that all? No. 'They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint'. Substitute I for they in those scriptures. It will now read 'I shall mount up with wings as eagles, I shall run and not be weary and I shall walk and not faint'.
Lifes' challenges should drive you to the presence of God so that you- can receive strength and power to be victorious. Solutions out of God's plan and purpose brings short-lived reprieve. If you really want an everlasting power to wield great influence before God and man, the secret is to wait upon the Lord.
Caleb did that and God preserved him till old age. At 80 years, he still felt as if he was 40. The best anti-ageing power is the spiritual capsule of the word of God. Find it, use it.

He Is Coming Back Again

'This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven'.

The disciples has been so enraptured with the presence of Christ after His resurrection from the dead. They wanted Him to form a political government on earth. But that was not the long term plan of God. All children of God should remember always that this earth is not their eternal home. The enjoyment, trials, temptations, victories, triumps over sin, moutain and valley experiences of today should not becloud our eternal vision. This world is not our home. Christ when preparing for His death promised to come back to take us home. 'And I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also'.
If there is any doubt as it relates to His second coming, He revealed to Apostle John after His ascension that He will come again 'And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be'.

What fruits are you bearing? Are you doing good or evil. If Christ come today, where we should be? When the trump of God shall sound, where will you be?
Will Christ find you occupying in the kingdom work or in lascivious living? Will He find you praying or pompous. He has promised to come back. Be determined to keep yourself in holy living and righteousness on a daily basis. That is the surest way to be found worthy when He comes.
