A Prepared Place For A Prepared People

There is a place God has prepared for as many as would be prepared for the place. Christ spoke about it in John Chapter 14 starting from verse 1. You open your Bible to the text to refresh your memory. If your Bible is not with you, here is the King James' version of the text ' Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. Ni my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also'.

Heaven Is  A Prepared Place For  A Prepared People

Let me ask you this question. Are you preparing for heaven? How good will it be for you to be there. This world is a journey. All of us shall return home. But where will you spend your eternity. It is a choice you have to make here while you are on earth. The heavenly God has given us the power to make the choice. That's why you the only person who can answer that question. God has done his own part. Christ has payed the supreme sacrifice to get the place prepared. Now, it is your turn to decide where you will spend eternity. You should know this, heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people. Remember that the athlete prepare for a competition before actually participating in the competition. In short, adequate preparation is a qualification for doing well in a race.

Believe, As The First Step To Adequate Preparation

You must believe in Christ to kick start your own preparation for heaven. In John Chapter 10 verse 9, Christ says ' I am the door, by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved'. You need to believe in Christ to qualify for the heavenly journey. If you believe in Christ, you shall live. It is the promise God made.

Go Back To Your First Work If You Have Backsliden

In His message to the church in Sardis, according to Revelation chapter 3 verse 1-6, Christ charged the believers there to return to their former works. They should remember how they started with the Lord and how they first received the gospel. They should remember how they heard the gospel which transformed their lives. It will trigger repentance so that they could go back to God. 'Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent'

There Is  A Crown For You

' Behold, I come quickly; hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown' (Rev. 3:11)

There is a heaven prepared for you. It is your responsibility to hold fast that which you have. Hold fast to it. Let no man take your place. Let no man take your crown. Be steadfast and unmoveable. Hold fast the word of God. Hold fast to prayer. Hold fast to good works. Hold fast to holiness. Hold fast to honesty and integrity. The Lord is watching you. He has prepared a place for you. Prepare to meet thy God, Oh Israel.
