Your Dry Bone Shall Rise Again

He was a preacher and Prophet not an undertaker. He was in the spirit. He was not carnal. He knew how to walk in the Spirit so as not to fulfill the desires of the flesh. Even, the hand of the Lord was upon him. Yet he was found in the valley full of dry bones. How can such a person be found in the midst of dry bones? Dry bones were found in the valley he was carried to by the Spirit of the Lord.

But why would God allow such to happen to an annointed preacher and prophet? Why not in the midst of the rich and influential? Why not even in the midst of the poor so he could minister to them? A lot of questions could be pondered about but God the almighty knew better.

It is gratifying that the story didn’t end in the valley of dry bones.

There is a great message for you today from the throne of grace. The message will emerge from the scriptural passage in Ezekiel 37.

‘The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones’ (Verse1)

Fresh And Greatly Anointed

Just as Ezekiel was experiencing the hour of refreshing and spiritually sensitive which shows he was not a backsliden Christian, you too may be fresh in the word daily with the confidence and peace which naturally accompany such fellowship with God but there is a problem!

The Spirit of the Lord has not led you to where you think you should be. He didn’t tell you to do what you have been expecting from him or praying about. He was leading you to something else. In fact, before you knew it in your eagerness to obey the Lord, you were already there not minding the cost only to find out that it was a valley full of dry bones. No life, no prospect, no hope as far as human thought is concerned. Cheer up! The story will not end there. In that hopeless situation you found yourself contrary to expectation, God will give you inspiration to prophecy life into that untoward situation and things will change for good.

Fervent In Spirit

A child of God in good spiritual standing is always fervent in the Lord. Ezekiel could be said to be fervent in the Spirit yet, he was led to the valley full of dry bones. Your spiritual fervency will not limit God. It is not an excuse to change God’s plan even if you find yourself in the valley of dry bones. The business you were led to in your fervency ended up dead. The marriage you were led to seem dead but that is not going to be end of the story. You’ll be inspired to speak and prophecy to your situation just as it happened to Ezekiel and your dead bones shall rise again.

Serving The Lord

Ezekiel was still serving God actively. In fact, the leading by the Spirit came in the course of serving God as a minister. The fact that you are serving God with all your heart doesn’t mean that the congregation you’ll be led to pastor or minister will be a living church. It may be a valley of dead bones. But be assured that what you see as dead bones will rise again. How? God who understand that dry bones can rise again shall inspire you by his Spirit to prophecy so the dry bones could receive strength to live again.

Here is the message for you. All the conditions, situations, circumstances and environment working against you and dead like the dry bones in the valley cannot resist the power of God through his word.

I therefore charge you by the word of God to prophecy now into those situations. The power in the word of God shall cause the dry bones to reconnect and reunite until life is restored into those circumstances.

Your job that is frustrating will receive life and you’ll begin to enjoy it again because the Lord God shall open doors for you to begin to enjoy the fruit of your labour.

That dead womb will receive life again to conceive and you shall become a mother of children in the name of Jesus.

The dead hand and limb you are carrying about shall receive life now and you’ll begin to walk and carry things you dare not do before now in the name of Jesus.

Open your mouth now and begin to speak the word of God to those situations. That is your hope. That is your power. That is your opportunity. Use it now! Peace be unto you in Jesus name. Amen.
