Divine Provisions For The Righteous

‘For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous
The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied…..
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand’. (Ps. 37:17-19, 23-24)

Divine favour is always available for those who believe in the Lord Jesus through faith. Their faith qualifies them to be called righteous. As a child of God, you may not be conscious of God’s divine provisions for you as a result of ignorance or negligence. It may even be that you have forgotten because of untoward circumstances in your life.

This lesson is to bring to your consciousness again to remind you of what God has done and is doing on your behalf so you could rekindle your hope for life and confidence in God. Your power will be restored and laughter shall ooze out of your mouth once again.
Here are the divine provisions as revealed in the scripture above:

The Lord Will Uphold You
‘For the arms of the wicked shall be broken but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand’ (Ps. 37: 17, 24).
God will uphold you just as a parent will uphold the child. The intention of God is for you not to fall but like a child, distractions might cause you to fall. If that is your situation, don’t despair because God’s provision is available to you. He will lift you up and clean you up. There is hope for a tree that if it be cut, that it shall sprout again.
The supernatural and divine hand of God is the one holding you. No man or power can snatch you away from him: he will not allow it to happen. You will not be utterly cast down. Rise up from your slumber and tap the grace of God available to you now.

You Shall Not Be Ashamed In Evil Time
‘They shall not be ashamed in the time of evil’ ( Ps. 37:19).
Have you checked it out in your King’s James’ version of the bible? It should be the same with what is quoted above. That means, no matter who you are or wherever you are living, this scripture is applicable to you. It is a guaranteed universal spiritual principle that is unbreakable.
What evil time has come your way? Disappointment, betrayal, divorce, sickness, loss of job, broken relationship or exam failure. Each of us face our time of evil differently. Whenever it comes, know for sure that you shall not be ashamed. The fire will not consume you. If you have been framed up, don’t worry, you shall not be put to shame. Shame is the portion of your adversaries, not yours. God’s deliverance is knocking at your door. Wait for it. It will happen.

Your Steps Shall Be Ordered By The Lord
God is in charge of the steps you take in life. He will order it for you. Not only that. He orders the stops too. All things will work well for you good. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and rely not on your understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him; and he shall direct your path. The Lord is always available to teach you the way you should go and lead you in the path you should follow.
When God orders your steps, there is nothing more to fear. He will not lead you into temptation. He will deliver you from evil. Because he is absolutely in charge of your life, your destiny shall be fulfilled.
Blessed therefore are your eyes that has read this post. Happy are ye if ye consider them.
