This present world is full of corruption and deceit. Men fear themselves and other things but God. This has resulted in the degeneration of godly values hitherto sought for in the time of old. Those doing evil now seem to be right while those doing right seem to be wrong. When there is evil, people tend to say it is good. When there is calamity calling, people give an impression of peace.
Yet there is a place for those who will fear God. It is these group of people the message of today is meant for.

The fear of God never go without compensation. The fear of God gives life. The fear of God is to depart from evil. The fear of God is to say the truth in your heart even to your hurt. But it is more than that. If you fear God, there are hidden benefits you will enjoy. Malachi chapter 4 vs 2-3 reveal the everlasting reward for fearing God.
'But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
And ye shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts'.

Christ Jesus is the great healer. He will come to your rescue in time of sickness.
He does not only have the power to save, to forgive but also to heal. He will heal you of your diseases and sickness. By his stripes, you are healed. Amen.
You Shall Go Forth And Grow Up
Your progress shall not be hindered nor limited. Men may rise up against you but they will not be able to stop you. Why? God is with you to move you forward and advance beyond your imagination. Your growth will be both vertical and horizontal. You will be like a tree planted by the river side. When hard times come, you will be refreshed and have more than sufficient to sustain you.
You Shall Tread Down The Wicked
This is the third divine benefit attached to the fear of God. Your adversaries will be put under your feet. They will no longer have dominion over you. You will tread upon them because they will become like ashes. They will be rendered powerless so that you can overcome them. Instead of them rejoicing over you, the reverse will be the case.
Have you now seen the reason why you should fear God? You have nothing to lose but more to gain. The false security those who despise God have will not last. It will soon be blown away by the wind of time. Don't stop fearing him.
