'It is good that i have been afflicted that i might learn thine statutes'. When our prayers for progress and upliftment is answered, we often tend to miss the opportunity it brings because of its presentation in form of adversity.
Suffering has been proven to be a great tool in honing our skills and remolding us to become better, wiser and greater. Be that as it may, we don't seem to enjoy suffering no matter how limited.
Why would God allow His only begotten son to suffer? So that He might enter His glory. If we seek glory and promotion, we should be ready to face the test and trial.
' Ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into his glory?
Take heart when you face adversity. Christ faced his. The saints faced theirs. They were despised and rejected. Some were burned to death but they inherited the kingdom of God and remain our heroes of faith.
Dark clouds will soon show its silver lining for you. We know that our present sufferings cannot be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us later.
Here is the conclusion. Adversity helps us to learn. It also lead us to our greatness. We should prepare for it if we want to grow and become great.
