Faith is the only currency to exchange for God's providence and services. 'Come ye, buy and eat, yea, come , buy wine and milk without money and without price'.
The grace of God is priceless. We cannot buy peace with money. Good health is God's favour. 'Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? The money you should use for feeding, you have used it to buy medical services at expensive rates.
That is not God's will for you. He wishes that you be in good health and prosper in body as your soul prospers.
Connect with God by faith. Withoug faith, no one can please God. Withoug faith, no one can receive from God.
Lift up your eyes above the hills unto the heavens. Your help will come from God.

Necessity Of Restitution
'And Zaccheus stood, and said unto the Lord, behold, Lord, the half of my goods i give to the poor; and if i have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, i restore him fourfold.'
The salvation experience of Zaccheus was dramatic. He met with some obstacles which could have discouraged him from taking the giant step to redemption. The crowd at the site where Jesus was preaching almost hindered him. He had hitherto had a poor public image as a tax collector. But any sinner that truely repent is assured of the mercy of God. The repentance of Zaccheus was genuine.
Christ gave him due attention despite people's objection. We saw the true fruits of genuine conversion in his actions. He started caring for the poor and reconciled with his enemies. He recognised those he had offended and defrauded. He restored what he collected from them fourfold.
Who are the people you offended before your salvation? How many people have you defrauded? How many homes have you rattled with sorrow? You need to take practical steps to make restitution and reconcile with them as a mark of true and genuine salvation. People must see practical evidence of the work of grace in your life.

Use The Power Of Focus To Achieve Greatness
'And it came to pass when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem'.
Focusing on your main purpose is the real path to achieving greatness. As you get close to your main goal, many distractions can blindfold you and bring discouragement. People might tempt you to becloud your sight from the major purpose of your life.
Jesus Christ knew that His destiny is at Jerusalem. He took certain steps which we must emulate in our quest to reaching our goals.
He understood the purpose of his mission. He focused his energy and talents on the location for the realisation of the goal. Jerusalem was the place to be. Nothing could hold Him back.
What purpose do you have in mind to achieve? What is your mission for this time, do you undertand it? Where is the real location for you to excel. Identify it and take action immediately to be in the arena of the fulfilment of your purpose.
Focus on the goal. Set your face steadfastly on your mission. It is the sure path to greatness.

When We Doubt The Goodness Of God
'Good and upright is the Lord'. That was how the psalmist saw it in chapter 25 verse 8. Eve never thought of that when she engaged in careless conversation with the serpent. 'How could God have kept this secret from us.? Why can't He tell us that there is a difference between good and evil? Are we not entitled to know the power of the fruit to make us live forever so that we can make our choice?' Oh! I doubt if He really loves us. He never mentioned all these things since He has been visiting. I think we could trust this our new friend for being frank and honest'. She must have battled with these thoughts in her mind as she spoke quietly with the serpent.
Circumstances of life and things we don't understand make us to doubt the goodness of God in our lives. Doubting His goodness and faithfulness open the door for the devil to tempt us into denying God. By so doing, make more mistakes and go deep into great trouble and confusion.
You can overcome this temptation by simply looking at the cross. We may not understand many things but we know for sure that Christ paid the supreme price for our sins on the cross to redeem us and bring us to God. That is the greatest demonstration of God's goodness to us.

You Are Being Watched
People around you know whom you are. They know you are a professed child of God. But do you know that it has shifted rapt attention on you? How you talk matter to the people around you. How you conduct yourself matter to the people around you. You cannot afford to be a negative image of Christ.
We have a choice to be kind to people so that the love of Christ will radiate to others through us. Not only should you be kind to believers but to unbelievers alike.
'For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ in them that are saved and in them that perish. Can you see how important you are in the kingdom equation?
Never be careless in your talk, action and character. You have a powerful influence on others. Use it positively.
