Not all congregations follow the tenets of Christ. So many false doctrines pervade the universe as we get set for the second coming of the Lord. A genuine Pastor must be concerned about the spiritual health of his congregation. Your heart should be constantly tuned to the well being of those you led to Christ. It should be your desire to see them grow in grace and in the love of God. Satan who sometimes disguise as an angel of light would have none of that. That is why you should adopt the priestly prayer of Apostle Paul who took the matter of the Ephesians to heart and expressed his prayers as he wrote to them.
When we pray, the glory of God will come down. Our limitation shall be removed and divine intervention happens on our behalf.
What Should Your Prayer Be?
Your prayer to your family as a husband and father(you are the priest of you own house), your congregation as a pastor could follow these lines.......
'That they may be granted according to the riches of His glory to be strenthened with might by His spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in their hearts by faith, that they being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comphrehend with all saints what is the breadth and length, and depth, and height and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that they might be filled with all the fullness of God'. Amen
T
hat prayer appreciates the power and sovereignty of God. It emphasizes the need for the love of Christ and necessity of spiritual growth. Such should be your prayer today as a priest.
May the Lord make His face to shine upon you. Amen

Your Sin Shall Find You Out
He had the uncommon priviledge to lead the people of God. He rose from obscurity to prominence. While his father never thought he could be king because he was the last born in the family, God chose him above his seniors. His spiritual commitment to God and gifts stood him out.
By the time the incumbent king led some troops to fight against the enemy, he was still a teenager but he overcame all obstacles and turned the tables against the adversary. He killed the giant Goliath by faith in God and confidence in His words.
If you want to mention any king in Israel who had a robust relationship with God, it was king David. He was very close to God. He was a man after God's heart. He was the most powerful king in his territory and greatly feared by his enemies. God truly favored him.
David put his hands in sin and God never spared him. He committed the sin of adultery against Beersheba, Uriah's wife-a member of the king's army. In order to cover his sin, he went into a higher one by setting up the process that led to the murder of Uriah on the battle field. David did all he could to cover up his sins but God would none of such. He exposed him. 'Wherefore has thou despised the commandment of the Lord to do evil in his sight? Thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. Thus saith the Lord, behold, I will raise up evil agaisnt thee out of thine own house, and I will take they wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbor and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the sun'.What secret sin are you committing with the powerful influence you have? God will fish you out. Your sin will surely find you out. If you cover your sin and think that nobody knows, be certain that God will expose you.
You may be a Bishop or Pastor in your domain. It is in your best interest to expose yourself to your spiritual leader now before the sword of God dangles on you.
It is wicked for you to continue defiling women in your parish as a result of your power and influence. Turn away from your sins and come back to God. He is waiting for you.

Power To Witness For Christ
The disciples dissociated themselves from Christ after his arrest for cruxifiction. They were fearful and could not face the adversary. But that story changed in Acts of the Apostles when they received the Holy Spirit.
Christ had earlier instructed them to tarry until they be imbued with power from on high. He told them with confidence and clarity what to expect before they could witness for Him successfully. 'But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth'.
The power of the Holy Spirit is essential if you are to witness for Christ with great results. After they received the Holy Ghost what happened? The same Peter who could not affirm his relationship with Christ earlier became so confident and bold that he could speak to get 3,000 convinced souls to immediately declare for Christ.
'Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost...Then they that gladly received his word were baptized and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls'.
With the power of the Holy Ghost, his words counted. The Holy Spirit went into work. He took over the hearts of men and realizing their spiritual wretchedness, they turned over their lives to Christ. That seemed an impossible task before.
In order to get men to believer our witness about Christ, we need the power of the Holy Ghost. How then can we get this power?
1. Believe that it is a promise meant for you not only the apostles
2. Pray in faith to receive
3. Tarry before God until you be empowered from on high
