Time To Say Thank You Lord

‘And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks.......’(Lk 17:15-16)

Ten lepers received uncommon favour and miracles from Christ when he was on earth. So many things has happened to them before the hour they met Jesus. They were outcast in the society and detested by men. But that's not our focus in this lesson.

When they met Christ, their lives changed! Your life is destined for change too if you meet Christ even in the few days remaining for the year to come to a glorious end.

These lepers lifted up their voices, and said Jesus, Master, have mercy on us’. They cried for the help of God when things were not working fine for them. They lifted up their voices to make a definite request from Christ. What do you do when you are in trouble and move to pray? You end up shouting at the top of your voice for help from God. I am sure God answered you just as he heard the voices of those lepers and removed the mountain before them. He has removed great mountain before you too in the out going year.

Out Of Ten, Only One Came To Say Thank You

90% of the lepers forgot the goodness of God in their lives. They went there ways and never looked back. They never came back to say thank you. Only one leper came back to appreciate what Christ did for him.

Friend, now is the time for you to separate yourself from the majority who are ingrate. Think about what God has done for you as the year runs gradually to a close. He removed your shame and restored your lost glory. Won't you thank Him for that? He canceled what men wrote about you and replaced it with favour. He didn't leave you to the desires of the enemy. When men said it was over for you, Christ came to your rescue. The Lord has been good to you. It is time to remember all He has done for you and say thank you Lord. Begin to do that Now!
