Reaching Forth To The Things Ahead

As the year runs to a gradual close, there is a message we all need to hear and pay rapt attention. Perhaps there has been failures in the goals we set and disappointments in the expectations we had. May be you fell into a sin which made it impossible to forgive yourself. What about the successes recorded too? Marvelous yet, that is not the end of life. There is more ahead.

For the broken hearted, there is hope that the song of joy will break forth to replace your mourning. Your hour of gladness and deliverance is at hand. Don’t despair. Even if a tree be cut, there is hope that it shall sprout again.

Apostle Paul was a minister mightily used of God but he had his own downside too though with great evangelical success in life and ministry. There was  a moment when he was despised and tormented but he never gave up. At that moment he could say ‘ I know whom I have believed and I know that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day’.

For all his successes, he remarked ‘Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

As we count down to the end of the year, rise up on your feet again and begin to walk. Let not Satan have the last laugh.  If you have found yourself in a terrible sin, repent and accept the forgiveness of God.

You’ll need to press forward because there is a prize ahead of you-there is a crown to him that overcomes. I pray for you that you will overcome in Jesus’ name.

Press forward and take heart. Don’t allow the failures and successes of the past to tie you down.

Press forward in :

Prayer-pray without ceasing. Be careful for nothing but in everything in prayer and supplications with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God  and the peace of God which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Press forward in Righteousness- The integrity of the righteous shall deliver them.

Press forward in Expectant Faith-For without faith, no man cab please God.  They that come to God should believe that He is God and a rewarder of those who diligently serve Him.

Press forward in Sobriety-Be sober and vigilant for your adversary, the devil like a roaring lion roam about seeking whom to devour.

Finally, press forward in Separation from all evil association and influences. For what concord has God with mammon and what friendship has light with darkness. Ye that love the Lord, hate evil.

May the good love preserve and keep you to the very end. Amen.
